Our Ceremonies
Symbolic wedding ceremonies
Your wedding reception is easy to personalise; however, your ceremony can be more difficult. Most wedding ceremonies are more rooted in tradition and legalities that involve a series of pre-determined steps that have been taken for many years.
If you are looking to put your own stamp on your event and want to avoid the added worry of bureaucracy, or you are from countries where it is difficult or impossible to arrange the necessary paperwork, we can provide an English-speaking celebrant so you can also have your ‘happily ever after.’
Civil ceremonies
The ceremony is performed in Italian by the Mayor or Civil Registrar from the Comune of Fivizzano, and translated back into English by one of our official interpreters.
The ceremony consists of a mix between the articles of the Italian civil code and traditional marriage vows, lasting about twenty minutes and personalised with your own readings, poetry and music.
Just the two of us ceremonies
Sometimes all you need is each other, and instead of eloping to Gretna Green or Vegas, it is becoming more popular for couples to celebrate their wedding in Fivizzano, without worrying about guests. We will personalise your day to make it just perfect for the two of you.
